2. Data Collection & Processing Disclosures
2.1 Data Kept Locally on Your Device (Zero Access by Developer)
The following engineering data is created and stored exclusively in your local sandbox; we have no technical means to view, decrypt, or upload it:
- Project & Spatial Measurement Logs: Project titles, room segments (living room, bedroom, etc.), length/area/volume metrics, laser calibration offsets, and construction wastage rates;
- Site Evidence Watermark Photos: High-resolution timestamped photos captured via the watermark camera are stored in your device's local sandbox (
Documents/FieldEvidence); - Inspection & Defect Records: Structural level readings, defect descriptions, and rectification markers;
- Exported Deliverables: AutoCAD (.dxf) vector schematics, BOM spreadsheets (.xlsx), and PDF reports.
2.2 Sensitive System Permissions & Purpose Specification
Permissions are requested strictly on a need-to-use basis upon your explicit prompt, and can be revoked at any time via iOS Settings:

3. Data Storage & Cross-Border Transfers
3.1 Local Sandbox Storage: All spatial plans, watermark photos, and measurement records are stored locally on your device. We do not operate remote databases storing your survey records.
3.2 Cross-Border Receipt Validation: For validating Apple In-App Purchases and preventing fraudulent refund requests, de-identified receipt data processed by Adapty SDK may be securely transferred to Adapty Inc.'s global server facilities in full compliance with applicable international transfer regulations.
4. User Rights & Data Control
You maintain complete control over your data:
- View & Edit: You can inspect, modify, or recalibrate all project items directly within the App;
- Delete Data: Swiping left on any item or project removes it instantly. Uninstalling the App permanently destroys all local sandboxed records;
- Revoke Permissions: You can toggle Camera, Location, Bluetooth, or Photos access off at any time in iOS Settings ➔ AR Ruler PRO.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is a professional utility intended for adult construction, interior design, and home renovation users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14.
